Product Mgr II The Assistant Product Manager is generally responsible for a single product and/or product line. This position will manage assigned projects and implement strategy related to product. This position will also perform analysis including pricing, profitability, sales planning and product enhancements.
Duties and Responsibilities: Product Management: -Implement approved product strategy's -Develop recommendations for products and/or product enhancements -Assist with competitive positioning and integration into sales process -Manage performance within key financial metrics. Project Management: -Assist and/or lead project planning process -Form and manage project teams across department and/or Bank -Assist with implementation and delivery within agreed upon parameters. Vendor Management: -Manage the day to day relationship with vendor -Monitor SLA's. Analytics/Metrics: -Evaluate financial performance versus key metrics -Monthly reporting and analysis. Industry Knowledge/Competitive Analysis: -Keep updated on industry trends and changes -Monitor competition from product changes and enhancements. Risk Management: -Keep current on regulatory environment and suggest changes as needed to maintain compliance. Dimension and Scope Data: This position is national in scope, primarily supporting the Retail Bank. It is responsible for a single product and/or product line. This encompasses identifying, defining, prioritizing and completing on-going tasks and projects for the assigned product. The incumbent will identify the resources needed to complete projects, assist in the development of reports, participate on special projects, identify any issues and make recommendations for resolution or improvement. This individual will work closely with the manager in all facets of Product Management. Job Specific Knowledge/Skills: Successful candidates will need to be organized, able to resolve issues, and able to identify items needed for the successful completion of projects. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project!!Public Speaking/Presentation Skills.
Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Minimum 4 years or more years of banking/financial services industry experience Minimum 4 years or more years of project management experience
