Job Overview:

The Senior Booking s Manager is a role that is the cornerstone of our business model. The role requires someone who is up to speed with new and exciting live acts both domestic and international with a commercial mindset. The role is one that should have a huge focus on maintaining company values, and developing new content activations our venues in Brisbane.

The role is also to service agents, promoters and artists and build long lasting relationships.

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a focus on customer and contractor relationship management. Would suit someone from a venues, agent or festival background looking to further develop their event management and event producer skills. The successful candidate would be able to provide insights and intelligence to our client base to deliver them the best ticket sales campaign possible, and collaborate with our internal resources effectively.

The breadth of the venues calendars includes music in all forms, comedy, theatre, sporting events and much more.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Key role in programming The Fortitude Music Hall & The Triffid – detailed calendar management as well as curational event partnerships

  • A finger on the pulse approach to the live events landscape of Australia in an effort to engage new business

  • Working with the Senior Marketing Coordinator and National Booking s & Content Manager to develop our promotional tools and structure

  • Overseeing ticketing department & liaise with promoter/agency to get shows announced and on sale

  • Communicating any on sale schedules with team along with any specific additional responsibilities that may arise on specific shows. Keen insights to sell more tickets

  • Working closely with marketing to form campaigns for each event

  • Liaise with event TM to advance the show details throughout the campaign

  • Oversee settlements post event; liaising with venue management, production, marketing to ensure all costs are included

  • Able to have flexibility in working hours such as nights, weekends and public holidays

  • Booking our venues with a focus on diversity

  • At least 5 years experience in venue booking s, artist booking s or festivals
