Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for setting up machines to start a production cycle, controlling and adjusting machine settings, and feeding raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to initiate a production cycle.

• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).

• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.

• Read blueprints and use calipers for precision.

• Operate press and stamping machines.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and machine operation.

• General labor and assembly skills.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Experience with calipers, press operation, and stamping.

• Ability to control and adjust machine settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in setting up machines to start a production cycle.

• Ability to operate semi-automated machines.

Work Environment

Work in a machine shop environment with numerous press and stamping machines. Shifts available include 1st (7 am to 3:30 pm), 2nd (3:30 pm to 2 am, four 10-hour shifts), and 3rd (4:30 pm to 8:30 am, three 12-hour shifts, paid for 40 hours).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $20.00
