Job Title: Tool Maker

Pay range: $25-30/HR

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:45PM and IF Saturday coverage is required - Saturdays are 7AM-11AM

Duration: Temp to Hire

Location: Attleboro Falls, MA

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Tool Maker with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a tool room position. The ideal candidate will be capable of operating all tool room equipment safely and responsibly while demonstrating expertise in progressive tooling, jig and fixture repair, and blanking, trim, and piercing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all tool room equipment safely, adhering to OSHA standards.

  • Independently operate Agie Mondo 1 and 2 EDM machines.

  • Diagnose and repair issues with progressive tooling.

  • Repair jigs and fixtures used on assorted manufacturing equipment.

  • Design and fabricate blanking tools, trim tools, and piercing tools with precision.

  • Multitask effectively, adapting to changing priorities.

  • Collaborate with team members on projects, sharing equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

  • Work with hubs, dies, and wire EDM as needed.

  • Maintain adherence to company quality standards and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a tool room role.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Agie Mondo 1 and 2 EDM machines.

  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing progressive tooling.

  • Skilled in repairing and maintaining jigs and fixtures.

  • Experience with blanking, trim, and piercing tools.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively while managing individual responsibilities.

  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining quality standards and precision.
