ASRC Federal Holding Company Financial/Program Analyst, MS Project in Atlantic City, New Jersey

ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Financial/Program Analyst to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. You will be working with tools such as Deltek Costpoint, MS Project and OMB 300.

This role is hybrid/primarily remote and will be on-site at the Tech Center on Tuesdays from 8am to 4:30 pm.

  • Developing comprehensive project schedules in collaboration with leads, managers and other stakeholders

  • Analyze project schedules to identify dependencies, critical paths, and potential schedule risks

  • Conduct analysis to assess the impact of changes or delays on project timelines and propose mitigation strategies

  • Monitoring and tracking project progress against baselined schedule. Update schedules to reflect actual progress

  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate project status, progress, and performance metrics

  • Collaborate with process improvement specialists to identify opportunities to optimize processes and project schedules, remove bottlenecks and improve efficiency

  • Integrating different project schedules to identify and resolve resource conflicts

  • Collaborate with managers and leads to develop budgets and estimate costs and resources for project planning

  • Generate financial reports to communicate budget status

  • Works independently with minimal supervision

  • Serves as an expert contributor in particular business processes responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization's business plan

  • Responsible for providing guidance concerning business and/or financial/schedule implications of the application of various systems

  • Supports program management team whose core responsibilities may include the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to enable successful program execution

  • Particular focus will be on building, maintaining, and analyzing schedules and budgets. These activities will include generating program/project status, cost and schedule indicators, project schedule trends, critical path analysis, and schedule optimizations

  • Responsible for developing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports on business related metrics Identifies potential project trends and risks to management

  • May also support creation of cost estimates for procurement actions

  • Develops business systems and processes based on user needs and requirements

  • Devises or modifies procedures to enable management to make program decisions based on cost benefit analysis and schedule considerations

  • Classifies, monitors, and summarizes financial and schedule data for the preparation and submission of reports on a recurring basis

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related field and 15 years of experience OR a Master's in a related field and ten years of related experience. OR High School diploma or GED required with a minimum of twenty-four (24) years of related experience OR Associate's Degree in a business or legal related field of study with a minimum of eighteen (18) years related experience.

  • Kknowledge of FAA/ Federal Government Accounting practices, Government appropriation process, Office of Management and Budgets 300 development support, or government contracts is a plus.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software products including Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools like MS Project.

  • Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus.

  • Understanding of project management principles

  • Proficient in writing and oral communication skills

  • Proficient using MS project and spreadsheets

  • Permanent Residency (must have resided in the US for 3 years) or US Citizenship is required for the FAA background investigation.
