Oracle Workforce Intelligence Consultant in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

We have a unique Workforce Analytics Consultant position within our team, that will collaborate and work under the direction of the Principal Workforce Intelligence Consultant. The team’s directive is to move HR towards integrated and flawless technology solutions that help deliver pertinent and proactive workforce insights to our business leaders.

In this role, the WA Enablement Consultant will be a subject matter expert (SME) on data driven inquiries for the Workforce Analytics (WA) and Sales Intelligence (SI) Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) platforms, and assist in ensuring the design, development and deployment of HR Reporting & Analytics projects meets the needs of Functional Owners (i.e. Process Owners – POs and Field Analysts – FAs), and the overall HR community. By doing so, you will help the team and our partners, deliver on our goal of driving actionable insights from data to enable evidence-based decisions, while also providing a powerful “Oracle on Oracle” story for HR, and the company. What You'll be Doing:

You will work alongside the Global Process Owner for Headcount & Attrition (also the PO for the WA Common HR subject area) to support the Human Resources Team on data driven inquiries, requiring the ability to accurately assess requests/situations and work with the appropriate functional and/or technical team(s). In addition, this role will also support company-wide initiatives and requests. As the work being done is global in nature, this position will require collaboration, coordination and teamwork with a larger distributed team.

OAC Platform Support / Data Audit Responsibilities

  • Support HR Workforce Intelligence Community Members with WA and SI Headcount OAC tool related functionality questions

  • Participate in both the WA Common HR Project Team and the SI Headcount Project Team

  • Provide guidance on process-related items such as BI tool access and provisioning, roles & entitlements, and respond to requests regarding BI tool functionality, dashboard/report issues, etc.

  • Identify opportunities to further enhance WA and SI Headcount dashboards and tool functionality, and assist in tracking enhancement requests from the HR community

  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical requirements

  • Develop, maintain and enhance the WA Enablement Team BI and DV Dashboards, as well as the SI DV HR Global Standard Workbooks

  • Perform regular data auditing and reconciliation activities between HR source systems and our OAC tools, using Python-based data auditing tool to ensure data integrity

  • Understand how to investigate workflow activity on employee records to identify root cause of reporting discrepancies

  • Triaging and follow up of WA Service Requests (SRs) and SI Jira ticket enhancements and bugs with the WA and SI technical teams

  • Support the WA and SI technical teams with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts related to platform upgrades and enhancements, and new tool functionality

  • Assist with quarterly OAC tool User Access Audits and Usage Tracking

Training / Collaboration and Communications / Reporting

  • Provide consultation to members of the HR community and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues

  • Assist in training the HR community withtool features and functionality, as well as creating and maintaining WA and SI training materials

  • Curate and maintain collaboration resources and training materials to effectively support the HR community (e.g. Workforce Analytics Enablement Team confluence and MySites/SharePoint pages, Slack Channels, OraDocs, Oracle Learning, etc.)

  • Increase awareness and drive adoption of the WA and SI Headcount OAC tools

  • Support Executive/Board-level global reporting requests, using OAC reporting tools

Privacy, Security & Governance (PS&G) / Data Dictionary Maintenance / Audit

  • Work with the PS&G team to help establish standards, guidelines, and processes used to maintain HR data integrity within OAC tools to protect critical information assets

  • Ensure data is properly secured, managed, and shared across the entire WA eco-system

  • Advise / Report on Data Governance issues (I.e. Data Privacy / Data Security / Data Integrity & Quality)

  • Support maintenance and audit activities for the WA Data Dictionary

  • Ensure standardization and alignment of HR metrics, data definitions and data classification labels

What We Are Looking For:

You have strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills. Timely follow-through and the skill to work in a fast paced/demanding environment. A proven track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables with a high degree of accuracy is critical.

  • Interest in using data to uncover insights and help drive business performance

  • Must have strong problem-solving, analytical, logical, research, and critical-thinking skills

  • Must possess strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and relationship skills

  • Inquisitive mindset, able to identify and resolve problems logically and systematically

  • OAC dashboard development experience

  • Focus on customer orientation with proficient consultative skills – identifying issues/needs and subsequent solutions

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to be productive and efficient in a matrixed organization

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and be resourceful in finding solutions

  • Proactive, organized, and detail oriented; able to ensure rigor and accuracy while meeting deadlines

  • Results oriented and highly responsive to requests; demonstrating ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and circumstances, and desire to continuously learn

  • Demonstrate high level of integrity; maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company and employee information

  • Strong team player who will work cohesively with diverse, cross-functional teams to complete projects and initiatives on time, with high quality output

  • Experience using SR logging and triaging tools such as JIRA and Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC)

  • Familiarity using HCM to understand and track workflow employment history

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA or BS preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, with a focus on business intelligence and workforce analytics

  • Experience using BI and DV tools (e.g. OAC) with an understanding of business intelligence concepts and data visualization standard methodologies

  • Experience with collaboration resources such as Slack, Confluence, JIRA and OSvC

  • Experience with Python/R an asset, but not required

  • Physically located in the U.S. or Canada

US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
