Summary

Ensures the successful execution and delivery of all hotel and owner solution products (enhancements, corrections technical requirements and integration) and other ongoing release plan management details to improve owner value proposition.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for managing all product roadmap for hotel and owner technology across all regions.

  • Own, direct, and manage hotel and owner solutions portfolio including In-Stay Experience, IHG Concerto for Owners (C4O), and Owner Lifecycle.

  • Responsible for implementation of all guests facing and in room technology across regions.

  • Gather, understand, and direct the creation of all technical requirements which will define the functionality of all hotel and owner products.

  • Partner in decision making surrounding delivery methodologies across the project landscape to drive the most efficient delivery model and increase the speed to market.

  • Work in collaboration with business leaders within HOCPP, Global C&T, and across other functions (ex: brands, operations/region, etc.) to ensure integration with internal IHG corporate systems.

  • Own all user-acceptance testing, hotel user testing and beta deployment activities in preparation for full global deployment. Ensure system is stable and deployment techniques are solid before certifying product for production rollout.

  • Own vendor and supplier management and product portfolio management for HOCCP group.

  • Consult globally with all regions, brands, stakeholders, and regional hotel operators/owners/managers to gather feedback.

  • Responsible for curating and managing a repository of all solutions, systems and applications deployed globally.

  • Responsible for developing regional, IHG internal and external solutions that deliver on the owner life cycle management value proposition.

  • Align product strategy and work of team against IHG strategic priorities/pillars and Global C&T strategic priorities.

  • Lead and develop teams of highly experienced, motivated, and talented professionals.

  • Ensuring all products and solutions are appropriate for all regions.

  • Facilitate collaboration among internal IHG teams to ensure Brands Standards are met by products and services.

  • Ensure integration between all current and future products.

Key Skills & Experiences

Education

Bachelor's degree (Master preferred) with progressive work experience in Computer Science/MIS/IT, Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

  • 10+ years in Hotel IT or IT Management role with minimum of 7 years in regional management capacity

  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple cultures and managing hotels/vendors/Owners across different countries within hospitality or related industry.

  • Strong architectural foundation and systems level knowledge with a demonstrated understanding of Property Management Systems, reservation systems, yield management systems, point of sale systems, and other hotel-based systems.

  • Experience in engaging cross functional working partnerships in a global organization.

The salary range for this role is $147,000 to $275,000. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
