Lifesouth Community Blood Ctr Training Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as aTraining CoordinatorinDunwoody, GA. This position is responsible for conducting new employee orientation and other training as needed within the Georgia district.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Conduct the safety training requirements portion of new employee orientation
Oversee or assist with departmental training
Oversee, implement or assist with the implementation of annual safety training
Ensure training on SOP bulletins and/or updates are implemented in a timely manner
Schedule, review and assess the completion of annual competency requirements
Travel within the district to conduct training sessions and ensure training by branch trainer is implemented consistently and effectively
Audit department personnel to ensure staff performs procedures consistently and within SOP/Training guidelines and requirements
Qualifications
Associate's degree; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted
Valid driver's license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements
Establish effective working relationships with coworkers and the public
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Bachelor's degree preferred
Training and/or education experience preferred

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.
