KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Senior Director for CEPAR Operations, the Threat Assessment Program Management Specialist is part of the University's Threat Assessment Team.
Participates in the assessment, follow-up, and management of cases under review.
Conducts research, summarizes data, develops reports and prepares presentations to facilitate case administration.
Leads the planning for conferences and other specialized presentations.
Oversees team schedules and determines meeting topics to ensure team is focused on desired outcomes.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree and two years of project management, analysis or related work experience.
Certification through ATAP as a Threat Assessment Professional and experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to establish a strong rapport with internal and external business partners and work effectively to resolve problems in a diverse environment.
Strong leadership skills to create a vision and lead a team to accomplish desired outcomes.
Proficiency with office 365 software applications and case management software preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in related field
Extensive background in project management/case management
Certification through ATAP as a Threat Assessment Professional
Experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
