Job Description

The Talent Management Principal will serve as program manager designing, developing and/or overseeing key talent areas, including performance and career development, talent reviews/succession planning framework, talent strategies, workforce planning and differentiated development. This role requires an individual with a solid understanding of talent management principles, experienced in building a talent management framework and a passion for fostering employee growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Work with HR and Business leaders to understand current needs and then build and implement performance and career development systems and processes to set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and facilitate career growth and development

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on and lead the optimization of the Performance and Career Development (PCD) framework; goal-setting, development discussions and performance reviews

  • Partner in the development and execution of succession planning programs and frameworks to ensure a strong pipeline of diverse, ready talent

  • Lead the talent review processes to assess the skills, performance and potential of employees across the organization. Analyze talent data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for talent development and succession planning

  • Partner with HR and Business leaders to build talent strategies and execute key talent initiatives to increase employee engagement, drive differentiated development, support an inclusive culture, and drive superior business outcomes

  • Coach and train leaders in talent management best practices

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

  • 8 years of progressive HR Business Partnering experience with 2 or more years in a Talent Management role

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple deliverables and navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Workday system

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Director, Senior Director or AVP in the Human Resources department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
