Robert Half Systems Administrator in Atlanta, Georgia
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves designing and implementing computer programs related to machine operating systems and services for technologies utilized in our industry. You will work in a team environment and need to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, motivation, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Design, document, test, create and modify computer programs related to machine operating systems
• Recommend, design, implement, and support services for technologies utilized by our organization
• Manage active directory functions such as employee onboarding and email configuration/support
• Coordinate with third-party providers for outsourced IT operations
• Evaluate documented resolutions and conduct root cause analysis to identify and remediate repetitive issues
• Generate technical procedures and user guides
• Maintain IT assets in a ready state for issuance and tracking (IT asset management)
• Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
• Prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines
• Be available outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues if they arise
• Efficiently and effectively manage projects
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Maintain strong information technology and analytical skills
• Demonstrate and maintain a consistent detail oriented appearance, image, behavior, speech, attitude, ethics, and integrity. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required
• Familiarity with VMware is a must
• Experience with Azure Active Directory is necessary
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server is essential
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other staff
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological advancements and trends in the field
