The Coca-Cola Company Summer Global Policy & Sustainability (Packaging) Graduate Intern in Atlanta, Georgia
Position Overview:
The Coca-Cola's Summer Internship program is an 8-10 week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Global Policy & Sustainability Intern will be part of our Global Policy & Sustainability team within the Global Public
Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) function and be responsible for assisting with projects related to the company's packaging sustainability initiatives.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Assist the team in developing and submitting voluntary disclosures related to the company's plastic packaging, across various reporting platforms, such as the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Global Commitment.
Lead an assessment of the company's reporting on plastic packaging and provide recommendations to improve data gathering for key voluntary disclosures.
Help prepare for internal and external meetings, events, workshops, and conferences including drafting briefing documents to ensure our teams are prepared.
Communicate deadlines, events, updates, and other internship-related information to associates using internal communication platform and other tools.
Education Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Political Science, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related discipline with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2025.
Functional Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly communicate complex issues.
Ability to manage and process large data sets.
Detail oriented.
Ability to work cross functionally with a geographically spread, culturally diverse team, stakeholders and partners.
Passionate about sustainability issues with an aptitude to learn quickly.
Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Education Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's and not graduating before December 2025.
Location: Atlanta, GA Monthly Compensation: $6,066
