Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia. The role is part of the accounting industry and will be based in a dynamic workplace. As a Staff Accountant, you will be engaged in a variety of financial tasks including processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, performing Bank Reconciliations, and maintaining the General Ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) tasks, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, confirming all funds received are correctly accounted for.

• Perform Bank Reconciliations, comparing and resolving any discrepancies between our internal financial records and bank statements.

• Maintain the General Ledger, keeping it updated with all financial transactions.

• Prepare Journal Entries, logging all financial activities into our system.

• Assist with Month End Close procedures, verifying all financial data for the month is accurate and complete.

• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations

• Ability to prepare and process Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Working knowledge of NetSuite

• Proficiency in Oracle

• Experience in using QuickBooks

• Familiarity with SAP software systems
