Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Distributed Systems) Job Requisition: 20637.2718.5 Job Location: Atlanta, Georgia Job Type: Full Time Rate of Pay: $156,600 - $235,000 per year Duties: Designing, developing, and operating Kubernetes based public cloud platform to host Workday's applications. Drive Workday's public cloud platform development, understand other teams' needs for the platform, discuss solutions with architects and business partners, and mentor junior members of the team. Developing in a modern programming language (Golang, Ruby, Python, Java 8+, or Scala). Running server orchestration solutions in production (Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker Swarm, or other solutions). Designing and building a microservice architecture and automation solutions. Work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders (including product management, workmates as well as external teams using our platform). Working in an Agile environment with Agile development methodologies. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location and recruiters can share more during the hiring process. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
