Description

We are offering a role in the manufacturing industry located in Atlanta, Georgia, for a meticulous Sr. Financial Analyst. This role involves analyzing financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data, recommending actions, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial data and create financial models for decision support

• Reporting on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

• Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

• Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures

• Providing analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions for optimization

• Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials

• Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

• Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

• Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps

• Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial role within industry

• Proven expertise in budgeting and forecasting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in using financial software and databases

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
