Workday, Inc. Sr Database Administration Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia
Develop and maintain database monitoring tools and automation systems. Deploy and administer 24x7 Oracle and Aurora PostgreSQL Database on Cloud infrastructure with a focus on performance, high availability and scalability. Collaborate with development, architecture, and release teams, providing architectural design recommendations, driving standards for effective transition to Aurora PostgreSQL. Administer Aurora PostgreSQL databases throughout the development and production lifecycles. Install, monitor and maintain Oracle and Aurora PostgreSQL, implement monitoring and alerting, implemented backup and recovery processes, provide system and SQL performance tuning. Salary: $149,760.00 - $166,400.00 per year, 40 hours per week.
Workday pay ranges vary based on work location and recruiters can share more during the hiring process.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
