A Day in the Life:
The ERP Business Analyst Sr Procurement provides day-to-day support for the Oracle Fusion Procurement, iProcurement, Contracts, Sourcing and iSupplier modules. The ERP Business Analyst –Procurement is a techno-functional position that collaborates with the business and IT stakeholders to define requirements for application development. The position plays a critical role in facilitating business process discussions, redesigning to solve inefficiencies, laying the foundation for application support, Quarterly upgrades and enhancement planning. This role interviews subject matter experts to learn about current and desired future state processes, identifying how technology should support those processes. The Oracle Fusion Procurement Business Analyst create use cases to capture requirements, assumptions, and alternative paths, from which design plans are developed. This role interacts directly with business users, vendors, and development/support teams to identify gaps and provide innovative solutions in response to business requirements. In addition, collaborates on detailed designs and test plans, ensuring traceability from business goals to requirements definition to production delivery.
A key part of this role will be to partner with IT and Business teams on implementation and ongoing improvement of Oracle Fusion Cloud procurement-related systems for Fleet and Non-Fleet.
Additionally, this role will be pivotal in delivering key Hertz supplier integrations.
The starting salary for this role is $105K; commensurate with experience. Posting open until position is filled.
What You'll Do:
Front-line support for the Oracle Fusion Procurement, Contracts, iProcurement, and iSupplier modules.
Support month-end close activities for Oracle Procurement
Consult, advise and assist the Sourcing and Procurement Operations department in on-boarding new vendors.
Configure punch-outs and shopping carts to third party vendors.
Configure inventory, catalogs and items.
Provide support for AME approval hierarchies and location setup
Support custom integrations to third party vendors
Provide ad-hoc reporting using SQL
Assist with spend analytics dashboards and reporting.
Complete SOX controls and audit documentation
Deliver major project initiatives affecting the Oracle Procurement area.
Provide day-to-day support of the Oracle Financials including applying periodic patches, reporting requirements, ad-hoc requests from business and production system support.
Support and maintain Oracle Fusion applications, including assisting in troubleshooting incidents and identifying and documenting functional errors.
support efforts to streamline and automate repetitive processes.
Work with Oracle support to resolve technical issues and software updates
Engage with the business users at various levels to understand business needs and translate findings into clearly defined business requirements documentation.
Translate business requirements to functional design document
Create test scripts to validate the functional design
Lead and/or perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing and provide the functional support to users
Prepare and execute test plans to ensure that patches and or system changes are thoroughly tested prior to being placed into production.
Deliver projects focused on Oracle Cloud ERP migrations, implementations, global rollouts and upgrades.
Must be able to produce detailed system/business requirements specifications, complex data flow diagrams, test plans, swim lane and process diagrams using Oracle AIM methodology.
Knowledge and experience in additional Oracle modules a plus – AR, GL, FAH, FA, AP.
What We're looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Finance.
5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, upgrading and supporting the Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement module.
Must have significant hands-on demonstrable experience with Oracle Cloud Procurement, Contracts, iProcurement, iSupplier
Experience configuring punchouts and shopping carts to third party vendor.
Solid understanding of Oracle Approvals Management Engine (AME) hierarchies
Solid understanding of Oracle Location configurations
Understanding of onboarding suppliers and processing invoices through the Oracle Business Network (OBN)
Experience and understanding of Supply Chain processes
Experienced with Oracle Sub Ledger Accounting configurations
Experienced in Oracle EBS ERP implementations/upgrades to Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS).
Knowledge or Oracle EBS tables and standard interfaces
Demonstrated strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability with significant prior experience working to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Oracle Procurement module.
Ability to map applications to standard business processes
Significant experience applying Oracle AIM Methodology, FRICEW, and CEMLI
Fluent in writing test scripts
Ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams.
Adept at collaborating with technical development teams when addressing new implementations, functionality enhancements, performance issues or application updates
Experience working with multiple partner environments
Experience in managing budgets for on time and quality deliverables
Extensive knowledge of SDLC – Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
Experience in EBS R12 Procurement is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
JIRA board and Scrum experience
Flexibility working offshore time zones
Ability to present and articulate complex solutions
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong task management skills with the ability to manage complex and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
