Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves a range of accounting tasks in a telecom provider setting. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

• Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

• Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

• Maintain fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

• Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision

• Conduct intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

• Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner

• Participate in various department-wide initiatives

• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are essential for this role.

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Ability to handle General Ledger tasks is imperative.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining Journal Entries is required.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel is necessary for data management and analysis.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is a must.

• Familiarity with NetSuite for business management is required.

• Knowledge and experience in using Oracle for data management is necessary.

• Experience with SAP for business operations and customer relations is required.
