McKinsey and Company Inc. US is seeking a Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for the development, support, maintenance, and implementation of enterprise applications that are scalable, resilient, and distributed. Propose, design, architect and develop innovative multi-platform solutions and features in the cloud. Responsible for migrating existing solutions onto a public cloud and help adapt cloud native capabilities. Solve complex problems through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and applications. Contribute to the architecture across the technology stack, from database to native apps. Design, build, and deploy full-scale enterprise applications by working collaboratively and iteratively through design and development to deliver fully functional web-based and mobile applications that meet business goals. Use strong analytical and problemsolving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions. Build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach higher levels of expertise. Telecommuting permitted.
Qualified applicants for this position must possess a Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent. Minimum one (1) year of experience with modern tech stacks, frameworks, and object-oriented/object function scripting languages including Java, RoR or .Net. Experience must include the following: Using ReactJS, Redux, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3; Hands-on knowledge in public cloud products, cloud-native architectures, server less frameworks, Docker/Kubernetes; Understanding of TDD and DevOps practices and tooling; Understanding of backend or frontend testing frameworks: JUnit, Mocha; Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB; Implementing CI/CD pipelines across various environments and integrating with automated integration, end-to-end and regression testing pipelines;Designing and integrating RESTful APIs or Microservices; Build tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile/SCRUM.
