PVS’ (Prime Video & Studios) ambition is to be the best place to watch and distribute video, and to be the default entertainment hub for customers. To achieve the org ambition, PV Payments’ vision is to provide a comprehensive selection of payment options globally in order to become the preferred Video service provider for both end users (consumers of content) and 3P content owners. With an unmatched suite of payment options, paying for our products should be so seamless that it becomes an afterthought – customers should never have to worry about whether they ‘will’ be able to sign-up or continue paying for our services. Additionally, a broad selection of payment options and best-in-class security features will separate us from other global video marketplaces and establish us as a preferred place to publish content.

To achieve this vision, our north star is to build a service that is perceived as ‘local’ by customers everywhere, so that they consistently choose PV as their service of choice. For payments, a ‘local’ service must enable customers to: (a) pay in their local currency, (b) enable payments via their preferred payment method, (c) enable sign-up/purchase on all devices that support PV streaming, (d) transact in a safe and secure way with features that are in line with local norms and regulations.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
