Description
We are offering a contract for a Software Developer position in Atlanta, Georgia, this role is on-site. As a Software Developer, you will be involved in all aspects of software development, from initial concept to final delivery. This includes the development and customization of a white-label product, troubleshooting and resolving bugs, and managing support tickets from JIRA. You will be working in a team-oriented environment and will need to collaborate effectively with project managers, QA engineers, and other developers.
Responsibilities:
• Customize and enhance a white-label product to meet specific client requirements
• Develop, test, and maintain custom Java applications according to business needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs identified by internal teams or customers in a timely manner
• Manage JIRA tickets effectively, ensuring prompt response and clear documentation
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices for software development
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality of code
• Collaborate with project managers, QA engineers, and other developers to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of software solutions
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends, and suggest improvements and new features for the product
Requirements • Proficiency in Java programming language is mandatory.
• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript is required.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is necessary.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset are crucial.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Experience in agile or other program development methods is desirable.
• A minimum of two years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of coding best practices and understanding of coding for scalability is required.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git is beneficial.
