Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining our ServiceNow platform to streamline processes and enhance productivity across the organization. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and a proven track record of successful implementations.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and methodologies.
Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer or Architect certification is a plus.
ITIL v3 Foundations Certification, a plus.
Must be comfortable working independently with minimal oversight as well as comfortable working in a team setting swarming and peer programming.
How you will lead
Serves as a subject matter expert on the ServiceNow platform and IT Service Management (ITSM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Workplace Service Delivery (WSD), SecOps, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and related systems; providing necessary support for all process initiatives and cross functioning systems.
Conduct requirements analysis for development of new features, components and enhancements to existing components.
Architects, develops, integrates, and implements ServiceNow solutions.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
Develops and modifies ServiceNow workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components.
Participates in design review, user requirements sessions and development teams to deliver features and capabilities supporting automation initiatives.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
Designs, codes, debugs, documents, deploys and maintains solutions in a highly efficient and effective manner
Creates, maintains, and enhances reports, dashboards, homepages, and custom views.
Performs data load, mapping, access controls, database views, user interfaces (forms and navigation), scheduled jobs/reports.
Assesses new releases and provides direction regarding adoption of new features.
Coordinates application and platform upgrades.
Monitors the health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow users.
Partners closely with the business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support.
Escalates and works with ServiceNow, Inc. for complex issues out outages.
Identifies critical metrics and develops ad-hoc system reports
Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.
