nVent Retail Sales Director - (Electrical & Fastening Solutions) in Atlanta, Georgia

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead the retail sales team in meeting sales budgets and developing key relationships throughout the customer's organization that ensure long-term growth and preferred vendor status for mainly our GARDNER BENDER, KING INNOVATION, CADDY, and ERICO products
Sync the business unit with key account initiatives to create growth opportunities
Leverage a detailed understanding of customer systems to affect results within National Hardware Co-Ops and regional big box stores
Use an understanding of the drivers of retail productivity along with technical competence in electrical products to enhance placement and gain share
Meet or exceed annual Retail Sales budget by account
Lead profitability through item mix and pricing
Identify product and promotion opportunities and communication internally
Directly lead big box retail accounts
Develop top-to-top relationships with customers while leading sales agents for performance
Negotiate annual customer contracts for pricing and program support
Lead project management for all major line reviews in a cross-functional environment
Develop and communicate key account growth strategies
Work with finance to evaluate customer profitability through effective P&L analysis
Guide regular SKU productivity reviews and monitor inventory levels using customer data
Maintain service levels by adhering to the Outstanding Demand Forecasting Process by customer
Direct Management of Retail National Sales Managers

YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree or applicable sales leadership experience
Ideally 8+ years of Retail Sales management experience with Hardware or Home Improvement/DIY Centers
Strong understanding of financial principals
Ability to cultivate new business
Multifaceted persuasion skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate at high levels within an organization
Well-organized with the capacity and aim to coordinate project execution remotely
Proficient in MS Office products (MS Teams, Outlook, PP) and a sales CRM system like salesforce.com
Strong written presentation skills using computer-based tools
Ideally will have experience with electrical or mechanical products
Ability to work remotely from a home office and travel 50% of the time on average including weekends as needed. A valid driver's license is required

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of total target cash pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Total target cash is comprised of an employee’s base salary and sales incentive target opportunity, when annual sales goals are achieved.
Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
If annual sales performance exceeds annual sales goals, the total target cash received may exceed the pay scale maximum reflected below.
Total Target Cash Range:
Geographic Region A: $137,200.00 - $254,800.00 Geographic Region B: $140,100.00 - $260,300.00 Geographic Region C: $152,900.00 - $283,900.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
