Creative Project Manager -Atlanta Georgia - Onsite 4 days a week

The Role

In this contract-to-hire role, you'll be the quarterback for our creative team, ensuring projects for our retail client are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll wear many hats, from managing project timelines and budgets to fostering collaboration between internal creative teams and the client.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work cross-functionally with assigned focus areas in the company to understand their initiatives and plan marketing resources accordingly

  • Develop a solid understanding of channel needs to properly inform creative execution as needed

  • Ensure incoming requests have adequate information and specifications needed to plan and manage the project

  • Track and escalate projects that are at risk of missing deadlines, working with stakeholders to set revised schedules

  • Problem-solve to ensure smooth project process and resolve schedule conflicts

  • Run internal status and resourcing meetings, learning details of available resources autonomously in between meetings

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in collaboration with team members from multiple disciplines and provide details required for a specific audience, including clear expectations and relevant implications (i.e. timing, resources, etc.)

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to stakeholders about progress, adjustments, roadblocks, etc.

  • Manage and report on creative resource needs for specific focus areas

    Requirements

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing print and digital projects for a marketing agency or organization

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or applicable work experience

  • Knowledge of project management systems required, Workfront experience strongly preferred

  • Strong attention to detail, methodical, organized, and process-oriented

  • Ability to communicate with authority and tact while also knowing when to escalate

  • Proficient in MS Office, advanced Excel skills preferred

  • Adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
