Description

The program coordinator in the Emory Healthcare Transformation Office will assist The Transformation Office leadership in daily duties by providing effective support management, understanding processes relevant to program management and ensuring alignment with the office and broader organizational goals. This position will report to the Chief Transformation Officer, Emory Healthcare.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various departments and stakeholders at all levels of seniority to facilitate collaboration and ensure successful program implementation.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate and oversee different programs and projects, ensuring they align with business needs, managing resources effectively, mitigating risks, and driving progress toward organizational objectives.

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor and approve program expenditures, prepare financial statements, and maintain records pertaining to program activities to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, prepare progress reports for Transformation Office programs, manage traditional and social media activities, and ensure all parties are informed and engaged throughout the program lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of proven experience in program coordination or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting, demonstrating the ability to manage and deliver complex programs.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to inspire and motivate teams, provide clear direction, and drive results by effectively leading diverse groups toward common goals.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying complex ideas clearly, fostering collaboration, and keeping stakeholders informed at all levels.

  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop and articulate a clear vision, set strategic objectives, and devise actionable plans to achieve them while adapting to changing circumstances.

  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues and risks that may arise during the program, employing creative solutions and critical thinking to overcome obstacles.

This role is integral to the success of the Transformation Office, ensuring that initiatives are well-coordinated, effectively managed, and aligned with Emory Healthcare's mission to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
