Elevance Health Program Consultant (Analytics & Reporting), NOCC in ATLANTA, Georgia

Location: Open to any Elevance Health Pulse Point location

** this position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) which requires working in the nearest Elevance Health office 1-2 days per week. The rest of the time would be working remotely (from home). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health office locations. Open to any Elevance Health office

The Program Consultant (Analytics & Reporting), NOCC is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, analytics enhancements and regular reporting of the National Operations Command Center (NOCC).

How you will make an impact:

  • Leverage data analytics skills to build new analytics metrics and visualizations, learning and extensively leveraging ThoughtSpot as a new analytics capability

  • Continuously evaluate NOCC Dashboards for data quality issues, visualization enhancements and performance

  • Co-manage the backlog of improvements with the NOCC data & analytics teams, able to translate business requirements to technical and data requirements for rapid development. Extensively test developed assets to ensure accuracy, stability and usability.

  • Co-manage NOCC Alert outcomes performance reporting. Detail and catalog each NOCC Alert and their contribution to enterprise operational performance by collecting and validating operation improvements across many different performance outcomes. Lead monthly summary reporting of these improvements across all NOCC Alerts

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and explain data-generated insights with technical and non-technical associates at different levels of management.

Minimum requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineers, Business Administration, Operations, and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with analytics and reporting; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:

  • 5 years of experience healthcare/payor experience with deep understanding of operational functions and analytics management

  • Ability to manipulate large sets of data and generate insights.

  • Experience utilizing large, complex, and integrated analytic dashboards.

  • Experience working in a Command Center or escalation management capability/forum

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, data analytics and interpersonal skills

  • Advanced skills in data & analytics capabilities (Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, requiring wearing many hats and flexible to role and responsibility as needs change periodically.​
