Delta is on a journey to become a world-class retailer, changing the way Delta can sell and service products and improve the overall customer experience.

To enable this effort, the Enterprise Solutions (ES) team is evolving the customer and system interaction for Delta’s Ancillary Products. In our mission to consistently offer, sell, and service high-quality personalized products in the customer’s channel of choice, we are seeking a Digital Product Manager to drive a creative vision that modernizes retailing of various ancillary products. This role will lead the vision and execution of IT development roadmaps that support our overall ancillary products strategy.

The ideal candidate will take responsibility for the end-to-end product lifecycle, leveraging a systems-mindset when creating a scalable product roadmap. Strong candidates should have experience building and integrating consistent, efficient components across a complex product portfolio. Airline industry experience, especially with industry groups such as IATA and ATPCO, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as product owner for agile development teams.

  • Formulate the business vision and prioritize needs around a design system roadmap.

  • Dive into technical details with engineering teams and drive technical solutions.

  • Work with internal and external partners to execute delivery of products across multiple systems offered across various points in the customer’s travel journey.

  • Build an executable product roadmap that balances business value, timing needs, and development complexity.

  • Collaborate with other agile development teams to understand relationships and dependencies between teams.

  • Ensure IT development properly leverages backend mechanisms and achieves desired business goal.

  • Work collaboratively cross divisionally to ensure functionality flows through to customer and agent-facing channels consistently and adds expected value.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Proven success in understanding and managing complex processes.

  • Experience translating a business vision into written technical requirements.

  • Ability to communicate clearly to business leaders and technical developers.

  • Must have the ability to work well with diverse groups in a time sensitive and team environment with minimal supervision.

  • Results-oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Regularly follows up and holds other teams accountable when leading cross-functional projects

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in airline industry technology systems preferred.

  • 2+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced technology driven company.

  • Prior experience with enterprise design systems - establishing, building, and maintaining the product and ensuring success.

  • Previous collaboration with airline industry groups such as IATA and ATPCO.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment as a Product Manager/Owner.
