Home Depot PRO Platform Manager (Salesforce) in Atlanta, Georgia
Position Purpose:
The Pro Platform Manager is responsible for attracting, retaining and developing top talent focused on assessing market needs and inspiring cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day operations of Salesforce supporting Home Depot Pro. The manager will work closely with teams of product managers, developers, designers and business partners to define CRM strategies, lead implementation efforts, and execute Tableau data visualization. In addition, the manager supports in-depth Salesforce.com application reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization, support cross-functional balanced teams, and coach heir team of admins to drive a best-in-class experience across Salesforce
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
40% - Delivery & Execution:
Reviews recommended solutions and work of Salesforce Administrators to ensure Salesforce.com products are aligned with company, stakeholder and end user priorities
Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met
Removes roadblocks and obstacles that may impair balanced teams to help ensure delivery of Salesforce.com products in order to meet strategic, financial and technical goals
Receives incoming requests from stakeholders while keeping in mind strategy, product vision and user needs
Provides regular updates to leadership regarding progress of Salesforce.com products within portfolio
30% - Platform Strategy & Management:
Understands Saleforce.com product offerings and feature sets, as well as future Salesforce.com roadmap and periodic customer releases
Gains a thorough understanding of customer and associate needs, both existing and potential, and uses that knowledge to help deliver Salesforce.com products that provide Home Depot associates (customers) with a best-in-class Customer Relationship Management experience
Meets with users and stakeholders as needed to understand processes, pain points and system waste in order to identify where to improve the user experience
30% - Leadership:
Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to Salesforce Administrators
Attracts, retains and develops top talent to build a world class Salesforce Administration Team
Fosters collaboration with team members (Product Management, Analytics, Engineering, UX, etc.) to drive value and identify and resolve impediments
Acts as a proponent of modern software development practices
Advocates for the end user and stakeholder by becoming associated with Salesforce.com products, empathizing with and understanding user needs
Works with the balanced team to continuously assess progress, disseminate lessons learned and understand next steps
Guides more junior team members in strategy, alignment, analysis and execution tasks
Participates in and contributes to learning activities around modern design and development core practices (communities of practice)

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Standard Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in working as a Salesforce.com Administrator in a modern software development in an enterprise environment, across various Salesforce.com products
Proficiency in agile methodologies, and continuous deployment
Proficiency in working in a fast paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis
Proficiency in communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization
Proficiency in working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team
Proficiency in identifying goals, metrics and analytics to measure product value
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience conducting competitive research and analysis
Experience guiding more junior team members through Salesforce Administration fundamentals in a professional setting
Experience balancing workloads across teams
Experience managing and growing team members in a professional setting
