Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role primarily involves managing and processing payroll, utilizing various accounting software systems, and resolving any payroll-related inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process payroll using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions

• Maintain up-to-date payroll records and carry out necessary adjustments or corrections

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline payroll procedures

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and provide solutions promptly

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the correct application of QuickBooks for accounting functions

• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information

• Resolve any payroll discrepancies swiftly and accurately

• Monitor payroll system and work to improve payroll procedures for efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Proficiency in utilizing ADP - Financial Services is a key requirement for this role.

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is necessary for effective performance.

• The candidate must have a solid understanding and experience in various accounting functions.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must-have for this role.
