Arcadis is seeking a Environmental/National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Planner with experience in environmental compliance projects to join our Infrastructure team in Georgia.

Role accountabilities: Apply NEPA, state, and federal regulatory knowledge to coordinate interdisciplinary environmental team for various transportation assignments in the public and private sector. Responsible for overseeing environmental resource identification, impact analysis and technical studies, and report preparation as related to GEPA/NEPA. Prepare NEPA documents for a variety of transportation assignments ranging from minor programmatic projects to complex Categorical Exclusions. Prepare, plan, and participate in public involvement efforts Interface with clients Attention to schedules and delivery milestones. Adherence to Arcadis' practices including quality and safety standards. Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear and concise, oral and written communication skills Coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant work experience in environmental and regulatory compliance. Bachelor's degree or higher in planning, policy, a biological, physical or environmental science.

Key Attributes: Proven success in delivering environmental compliance and regulatory documentation. Excellent organization skills, responsive, understands schedule management, and communicates effectively Must work well in a collaborative environment and have excellent interpersonal skills Ability to understand the NEPA/GEPA process Fluency with Microsoft Office applications

Desired Qualifications: Experience preparing environmental documents and complying with Environmental Procedures and guidelines of the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $61200 - $91800. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
