Description

The Marketing Data Science team at our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Requirements Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements related to marketing data and reporting solutions. This role will work closely with key stakeholders across the Marketing organization including commercial marketing, analytics, and technical teams to ensure that the data solutions align with the organization's goals of providing actionable insights and driving marketing effectiveness.

The Data Requirements Analyst will be responsible for:

• Conducting interviews and collaborating with stakeholders, including marketing, business, and technical teams, to gather detailed business requirements for data and reporting solutions.

• Developing comprehensive documentation for data and reporting requirements, including data sources, data transformations, reporting needs, KPIs, and metrics.

• Analyzing existing marketing data sources and systems to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and integration points.

• Assisting in designing data models and reporting solutions that meet the business needs, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and scalability.

• Working closely with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Collaborating with QA and development teams to test and validate that data solutions meet the specified requirements, including user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Acting as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on data requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

• Experience using various SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience as a business or data analyst, preferably in a marketing or data-driven environment

• Experience working in marketing operations or the airline industry

• Proficiency in SQL, and experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Experience in data modeling and working with large datasets is a plus.

• Knowledge of WorkFront, Teradata, AWS Red Shift, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analtyics

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
