How you’ll make an impact:
The Analyst in Location Planning will play a critical role in supporting product strategies by determining store eligibility, conducting productivity analyses, managing systems administration for Anaplan, supporting the floor-set process, and serving as the primary communication point to field teams. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to extract actionable insights from large datasets to inform strategic decisions. The Analyst will collaborate with various cross-functional teams and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where projects and priorities frequently evolve, encompassing both long-term initiatives and quick wins.
This role reports into the Manager, Location Planning, and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment.
Store Assortment Planning (60%):
Partner with merchandising, planning, and visual teams to determine store eligibility for each buy season in support of strategic initiatives and financial goals.
Provide recommendations on product assortment (choice counts), manage fixture requests and shifts, and collaborate with visual teams to validate store blueprints.
Participate in the implementation and training for new assortment tools.
Collaborate with central planning to build floor-set and floor-walk materials.
Highlight key assortment and fixture changes that support financial goals.
Create quarterly strategy materials to communicate priorities and assortment changes to field teams, in partnership with Store Operations.
Collect and share field and customer feedback quarterly to influence future buying decisions.
Anaplan Administration (20%):
Manage store counts, eligibility, and custom store groups in Anaplan.
Build and maintain the seasonal store assortment library.
Ad Hoc Analysis (20%):
Perform in-season ad hoc analyses to assess the impact of strategy changes and the performance of different assortments.
Develop and present actionable recommendations to cross-functional partners and leadership, focusing on driving profitability and enhancing the customer experience.
We’d Love to hear from you if:
Must have:
Bachelor’s degree
1-2+ years in a corporate retail environment (e.g., buying, planning, finance, etc.)
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Self-Starter, Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and draw actionable insights.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to analyze data to problem-solve across the organization
Inquisitive mindset with a natural desire to learn explore new trends to drive business results
Preferred skills and experience:
Tableau
Experience with Anaplan or similar systems is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
