VCA Midtown Animal Hospital in Atlanta is hiring a Licens ed Veterinary Technician to join our hospital family.

We are seeking a highly motivated veterinary professional who is looking to serve clients with the best medical recommendations and care, while also having fun with an incredible team of people.

About Us

VCA Pets Are People Too Veterinary Hospital is now VCA Midtown Animal Hospital!

We are a well-established veterinary hospital in midtown, Atlanta offering wellness, dentistry, ultrasound, endoscopy, urgent care, surgery and more. We are open 7am - 6pm every day of the week, exclusively Urgent Care on Saturdays and Sundays.

We have modern equipment, a dedicated dental suite, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, etc. Our facility in Ansley Square Shopping Center is convenient to Piedmont Park, Morningside, and Midtown.

Our team culture is a true reflection of the Atlanta, GA area – warm, inviting, and family focused. We meet regularly as a team to continue to develop ourselves and the hospital. We support each other with work/life balance and celebrate accomplishments with fun events. When possible, we get out of the hospital and enjoy events in the community.

Flexible scheduling includes 8 or 10 hours shifts, day shift or swing shift available, including some weekends and holidays.

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician, we want you to utilize your skills and knowledge to the fullest. Duties will include:

  • Patient assessment and triage

  • Compassionate patient care

  • Client education and communication

  • Anesthesia and surgery assisting

  • Radiology

  • Dentistry

  • Catheter placement

  • Venipuncture

  • Laboratory sample collection and processing

  • Pharmacy

  • Medical recordkeeping
