Shift: 1st Shift: 8am-5pm (M-F)

Your Impact:

In this Lab Technician II role, your daily responsibilities will span across product formulation, analysis, and testing to ensure the highest quality for syrup and beverage products. You’ll assist in product development by analyzing samples, coordinating shipments, and providing critical support to the pilot plant operations. With your keen eye for detail and lab expertise, you’ll ensure every product meets the stringent standards that our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Lab Support : Assist in product formulations and documentation for approval, creating samples for testing.

• Product Analysis : Conduct essential product analyses (pH, titratable acidity, Brix) and validate products using fountain equipment for FCB (Frozen Carbonated Beverage) and FUB (Frozen Uncarbonated Beverage).

• Sample Management : Coordinate sample shipments to various manufacturing facilities and stakeholders.

• Pilot Plant Operations Support : Provide valuable support for product development in the pilot plant setting.

• General Lab Support : Maintain lab organization, restock supplies, ensure cleanliness, and follow safety protocols.

• Collaboration : Work closely with project teams, product developers, and manufacturing facilities to facilitate smooth product creation and approval.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Skills & Experience:

• BS degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or Food Nutrition with 1-3 years of relevant experience.

• Solid understanding of food technology, food chemistry, and complex food systems.

• Knowledge of food and beverage process technology, food hygiene, and food microbiology.

• Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and execution.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively.

• Leadership capabilities and good judgment in decision-making.

Pay Details: $31.25 per hour
