In private tax at PwC, you will focus on providing personalised tax planning and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and privately-owned businesses.

The Opportunity

As part of the Tax Services - Private Tax team you are expected to lead the way as tax advisors dedicated to innovation, providing our clients with the right skills and technology to problem solve and provide sustained outcomes. As a Manager you are expected to guide and supervise teams, overseeing the successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion of projects, while mentoring junior staff. You are expected to thrive in an environment where transactions are complex and require an advanced level of sophistication, leveraging your technical knowledge, specialization, and industry insights to address our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise tax advisory teams to achieve successful project outcomes

  • Guide the planning, budgeting, and execution of complex transactions

  • Mentor junior staff to develop their technical knowledge and specialization

  • Utilize industry insights to address client needs effectively

  • Foster innovation through the adoption of advanced skills and technology

  • Maintain exceptional standards in deliverables and client interactions

  • Develop holistic solutions tailored to private companies and their owners

  • Cultivate an environment of continuous learning and professional growth

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

  • 4 years of experience

  • Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

  • Able to speak, read and write Korean

  • Significant abilities in complex tax issues for US, non-publicly traded entities with operations in Korea

  • Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement

The salary range for this position is: $98,300 - $266,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
