IHG Jr Mobile App UX Designer in Atlanta, Georgia

Role Summary:

At IHG, we're transforming hotel shopping experiences by enhancing how guests find, book, and enjoy their stays, with a strong focus on customer needs and digital journeys. We are seeking a Level 1 Product Designer to join our Customer Experience Design group (CXD), where you'll support our team and help shape interactions across our 20+ brands. This growth-oriented role involves collaborating with design leadership, Product Managers, and Engineers to creatively solve key challenges while driving brand visibility, customer acquisition, and retention. Your Day to Day:

  • Collaborate with design leaders, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to address customer problems across IHG’s digital channels.

  • Produce design assets while working closely with design leaders and product partners.

  • Partner with our Research team to identify opportunities that enhance understanding of customer needs and translate insights into design solutions.

  • Follow a design process from sketching and wireframing to prototyping, creating interaction flows for the full customer journey across digital platforms.

  • Support the Design Language System and participate in design reviews and critiques to build presentation skills and refine design solutions.

What We Need From You:

  • Entry-level to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hotel or travel industry, with a focus on e-commerce user design.

  • Proficient in Figma or similar design software, with a portfolio demonstrating design principles.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts effectively.

  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.

  • Familiarity with Agile methods and Design Thinking methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 40,000 - $80,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
