Description:

The team manages the Merchant Services portfolio, to include the Healthcare Payment Solutions (HPS) and Merchant Business Software Suite (MBSS) programs, which are housed within the Enterprise Payments Tech (EPT) division of Global Tech. The team is comprised of Project Managers, Intake Analysts, Program Managers, Release Managers, Change Coordinators and Technology Analysts which ensure that the cost, schedule and scope across projects/programs are appropriately managed as planned by Tech and Business leadership.

The ideal candidate is a Seasoned Project Manager that has managed complex end-to-end technology programs and projects in their past experience. The candidate will manage multiple projects or a single major project and typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. The candidate will perform project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. This role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects.

The contractor will be involved indirectly with handling financials, forecasting and governance reporting and must be aware of those processes as relates to programs/projects. This candidate also manages the release activities and responsible for all governance and compliance required deliverables for acceptance and entry into the release.

This person will…

• Supports for End to End Technology for programs and projects

• Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery

• Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects

• Manages multiple projects or a single major project

• Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions

• Assists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment

• Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility

• Build positive give and take relationships with stakeholders

• Use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations

• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams

• Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.

• Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.

• Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).

• Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.

• Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.

• Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.

• Support resource planning for delivery/execution.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Payments or Financial Services space.

• Familiarity with various project management tools

• Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications

• Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously

• Agile experience strongly desired

• Merchant services experience
