This position, General Manager Identity Management, will develop and implement the strategic vision for Identity Management (IDM) program. Responsible for establishing & implementing a governance framework, managing and coordinating requirements, and supporting the implementation of Delta’s IDM processes and workflows, while ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulatory requirements. Span of controls of this role would be over a global team responsible for enterprise IDM apps.
Additional Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy – Develop and implement the strategic vision for IDM within Delta. Collaborate and work closely with senior leaders to promote IDM initiatives and encourage the adoption of effective practices
Advisory & Influencer - Stay abreast with latest trends and technologies in IDM and cybersecurity to guide the team effectively. Engaging with key members, sharing IDM strategies and initiatives at all levels of the organization. Work closely with business units to understand their needs and ensure IDM solutions support their goals.
Governance & Compliance – Ensure that IDM practices align with applicable regulatory requirements (PCI, SOX, TSA) and internal policies, standards and procedures. Conduct regular access reviews, audits and assessments to identify and mitigate IDM risks
Operations –Responsible for the day-to-day operations of systems, ensure their reliability, scalability and security, by leading a global team across architecture, engineering, analyst and 24/7 operation support functions
Program Management - Run projects from conception through implementation (design, deployment & management), while maintaining alignment across project stakeholders and respective business functions to ensure the requirements and deliverables are defined and tracked throughout the program’s life cycle.
Integration & Simplification – Collaborate with IT, HR and business units to ensure seamless integration across various platforms and applications. Drive the implementation of IDM capabilities with existing enterprise security controls. Simplify processes to enhance user experience and compliance.
People Development - Develop and lead a team that demonstrates strong work behaviors, promoting an environment of continuous improvement, innovation, mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
This role is expected to be in the office, full time remote is not an option.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
10 or more years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Identity & Access Management and increasing scope, responsibilities and complexity.
4+ years of leadership roles with a strong background in risk management and ability to address conflict, influence decision-making, and foster teamwork across the organization.
Experience in IDM technologies such as SailPoint, Microsoft, Saviynt, Okta, or similar.
Strong understanding of technologies and standards, including LDAP, SAML, OIDC, OAuth.
Demonstrate ability in implementing and leading IDM solutions in a large, complex organization, with change management and program management practices
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., PCI, SOX, NIST, ISO27001), knowing how to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs.
Excellent customer service skills with ability to clearly communicate to an executive leadership team

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Relevant professional certifications i.e., CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar. IAM product certification or cloud security certification for Azure & AWS platforms, are desirable.
