Brown Electrical Services, LLC Full Charge Bookkeeper in Atlanta, Georgia
Responsible for directing and performing the organizations accounting functions. These functions include establishing and maintaining the organizations accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Manages and performs all accounting functions, including cash flow. Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to top management. Works closely with the Leadership Team.**
This is a 25-hour-a-week position**
Unique Job Responsibilities:Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepares monthly financial statements and ensures their accuracy and timeliness
- Handles Accounts Payable and Payroll functions
- Prepares and processes daily banking
- Coordinates bank relations and liaisons with CPA Firm and various merchant vendors
- Performs monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepares budget and tracks monthly budget to actual
- Performs cash management of multiple trust/bank accounts
- Maintains general ledger
- Coordinates and supports annual audits
- Reviews all receipts and disbursements, ascertains correct account distribution and ensures all support documentation is accurate and in order
- Assists Leadership Team in strategic planning
- Assists with client profitability analysis
- Ensures complete and up-to-date operating procedures for all accounting and financial controls
- Ensures maintenance of adequate internal controls to ensure safeguarding of assets and reliability of financial statements
- Performs additional duties as requested by the President, Vice President, or Leadership Team.
