Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be a part of a dynamic finance team, where your primary responsibility will be to analyze financial data, develop reports, and offer insights that contribute to the decision-making process. Your work will directly impact the company's financial performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret financial data to provide valuable insights to senior management
• Preparation of financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Assist in the development of budget forecasts and long-term financial plans
• Use financial systems to track, analyze, and report financial performance
• Extract and consolidate financial data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Monitor costs and identify areas for cost reduction or process improvements
• Collaborate with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards
• Assist in preparing for audits and liaising with external auditors as necessary
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support key business decisions
• Assist in business case development and financial due diligence for new projects, investments, or initiativ
Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar position.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a necessity for this role.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is essential.
• Ability to use Crystal Reports effectively is a must.
• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques will be beneficial for this position.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is required for this role.
• Experience with Accrual Accounting is necessary.
• Familiarity with Auditing processes is a key requirement.
• Proficiency in managing Budget Processes is essential.
• Ability to handle Capital Management effectively is a critical requirement for this position.
