Thanks for your interest in working on our team! We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Office and Facilities Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our office and facilities. The role involves overseeing office management, maintaining the facilities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for employees. The Office and Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing office infrastructure, coordinating maintenance services, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting various operational activities across the office.
Primary Job Responsibilities: Maintain a professional presence in the office during business hours Receive visitors and professionally answer multi-line phones, monitor and respond to main voice mailbox on a regular basis Coordinate and process shipments of packages (FedEx / UPS) Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail Light general office duties to include faxing and copying materials, filing and assisting management and sales and marketing team Facilitate communication between team members to optimize coordination and efficiency as needed Monitor/order office supplies including kitchen items and other equipment as needed Scheduling and monitoring conference rooms Courier services Schedule service and maintenance of office equipment (i.e. shredding bins, coffee, copier, fax machine, postage meter) Process invoices applicable to office management and facilities (catering, coffee service, office supplies, recycling, etc.) Work closely with HR and IT on/off-boarding employees Assist visitors with requests for building and floor access Update floor map/office layout Coordinate with Property Manager and vendors to address facilities needs Supplementary Tasks: Support and reinforce the safety and security measures for on-site employees. Coordination and support with the facilities team located at Adtran Headquarters in Huntsville, AL Responsible for ensuring (in cooperation with LRT Coordinator) that adequate business continuity plans, at each of Adtran locations (within defined scope), are implemented, tested and that the decision-making authority in the event of a crisis is clearly understood. Other duties as required Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of office reception, clerical and facilities experience Associate's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong written and spoken English language Highly organized and able to multi-task under time constraints Microsoft Office knowledge Position Details: Work Location: Norcross, GA Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site only. * Note: Due to the nature of the role, this position does not offer a hybrid or remote working arrangement.
