In this particular role you will lead the relationship and account strategy for a collection of large enterprise manufacturing businesses within a broader portfolio. A successful candidate must collaborate effectively across a large team of technical, delivery, strategy, and industry resources. The candidate must bring a bias for action, an entrepreneurial spirit, and determination to deliver results.

You will have the exciting opportunity to help fuel our customer’s next stage of growth. Your responsibilities will include accelerating their adoption of AWS products and services, increasing our market segment share within the customer, and increasing the long-term revenue potential for AWS. You will help the existing team refine and improve the business plan that describes how you will achieve the joint goals of the customer and AWS.

Key job responsibilities

As an Enterprise Sales Representative, you will drive digital transformation through meaningful engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses of your customers. In this role, you will represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across the accounts you manage. With AWS, our customers benefit from the fastest pace of innovation, the broadest and deepest functionality, the most secure computing environment, and the most proven operational expertise.

A day in the life

A successful candidate will need to understand how to navigate a complex portfolio of businesses all with their own decision rights, but with a passion and expectation of knowledge sharing.

The candidate must embrace the customer's strong corporate culture and understand how to earn trust both bottom-up and top-down.

Preferred candidates will have strong experience building and nurturing authentic executive relationships, and translating those relationships to drive mutually beneficial outcomes at scale.

This customer is a mature cloud user. Prior understanding and experience with AWS is strongly preferred.

You would be adding your talents to a diverse team already working hard to exceed this customer’s expectations. You’ll help us rise to the challenge ahead as we bring to bear all of AWS’ vast suite of Services and innovation to solve the types of problems unique to this particular customer. You’ll take our currently strong relationship to the next level and, by doing so, you’ll unlock all of the potential that our companies can achieve together!

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives

  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in building profitable partner ecosystems

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience

  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans

  • Experience selling AI/ML solutions
