Job Title: Director of HVAC Projects
Summary:
The Director of HVAC Projects will be instrumental in shaping EMCOR Services Aircond’s success. This individual will lead, recruit, and coordinate our HVAC project teams, ensuring efficient operations and driving positive business outcomes. Passion for innovation and strategic thinking will be essential in implementing initiatives that enhance our project delivery and overall performance.
Location:
This role will preferably be based at EMCOR Services Aircond’s headquarters in Smyrna, GA.
There is an option for an individual to work out of one of our satellite offices in the following locations:
Georgia: Buford, Dalton, LaGrange, or Macon
Alabama: Birmingham
North Carolina: Charlotte or Raleigh
South Carolina: Columbia or Greenville
Travel:
35-50%
Travel will be required to travel to branch offices located throughout Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct oversight of all Projects operations (Field Installation Mechanics, Plumbing division, operations leaders, and warehouse operations to achieve the overall annual revenue and profit goals.
Develop and implement KPIs that improve key processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop customer satisfaction metrics for use in recognizing team members and improvement.
Develop safety, quality assurance, and quality control processes and procedures
Oversee estimating and review processes.
Foster a collaborative communication culture that promotes team building, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with Human Resources to develop effective recruitment, retention, and employee development plans.
Develop an annual training plan for the field and office personnel.
Manage department budget and implement strategies for margin enhancement.
Coordinate with Sales teams to develop growth strategies.
Coordinate with Director of Service to promote collaboration across business teams.

Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and think critically in high pressure situations.
Ability to multitask through prioritization and organizational skills.
High sense of urgency and keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
Required Experience and Education:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
Progressive leadership experience in Facilities Service or Construction Industry.
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
