Inspire Brands Development Communications Director in Atlanta, Georgia

The Development Communications Director will oversee internal and external communications for Inspire Brands' Development Team to support franchise sales and awareness.

The Development Communications Director, to act as a critical, strategic partner for the franchise development team and across the organization. This individual will develop, lead, and execute strategic initiatives to position Inspire Brands as a franchisor of choice. Responsibilities will include creating communications to ensure ongoing performance and strategy are clearly communicated to internal and external stakeholders. A successful candidate for this position should have experience in B2B communications, internal communications, or corporate affairs. Experience in the franchise space would be beneficial. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, always-on environment.

This role will report to the Vice President of Corporate Communications while working closely with the Development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the internal and external communications strategy for Inspire’s development initiatives. Key priority areas include domestic growth, franchise development, commercial real estate, design & construction innovation, non-traditional growth, and franchise sales.

  • Lead strategic planning around industry tradeshows, franchising trade publications, and other relevant external channels to promote enterprise and brand growth and position Inspire as a franchisor of choice in the industry.

  • Play a key role in developing Inspire’s overall corporate narrative and external positioning – of which development is a critical component.

  • Prepare internal-facing development-related content to support the development leadership team's business objectives, including team members, franchisees, and suppliers.

  • Collaborate with corporate, brand, internal communications, and marketing leads to align on content and materials creation. Work cross-functionally to define requirements and scope of effort and prioritize material creation for franchising web properties, digital marketing, and marketing collateral.

  • Liaise with existing franchisees to build brand advocates and creatively communicate their success stories which will amplify Inspire’s value proposition.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute communications strategies highlighting growth momentum, including franchise development agreement announcements, format innovation, new market entries, and other brand-building initiatives in key domestic markets.

  • Manage a significant budget and monitor progress against goals and media coverage of announcements.

  • Manage and Execute Franchise and Real Estate Trade Shows

  • Lead preparation of Marketing Collateral Materials

  • Lead ownership and management of franchising websites and related complexities and interfaces

Minimum Experience : 10 years
