Design Engineer

Atlanta, GA

System One is currently seeking a Design Engineer on a 2 year contract position located in Atlanta, GA.

Design Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects.

  • Work on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments

  • Perform assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products

  • Involved in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment.

  • Perform system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them.

  • Provide oversight and support for construction activities.

    Design Engineer Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or General)

  • 1-3 years of progressive Engineering experience

  • Preferred: Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)

  • Project Management

  • Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization

  • Computer Assisted Design/Geographic Information System - basic proficiency

  • MS Office - advanced proficiency

  • CAD/GIS - intermediate proficiency

    Duration: 2 years

    Location: Atlanta, GA

    Pay Rate: $36/hr
