Position Summary:
Job Title: Debris Monitor Field Supervisor Full Time or Part Time: Full Time Temporary/Seasonal/Regular: Temporary- must be able to start immediately Compensation: $22/hour Benefits Summary: Not eligible for benefits. Travel/Location: Georgia/On-site at client location required. No travel. No Expenses provided. Mission of Role: As a Debris Monitor Field Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective debris management after natural disasters. You will oversee the debris monitoring team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices while supporting communities in their recovery efforts. Your role will require leadership, commitment, and compassion in challenging environments affected by disasters.
Position Responsibilities/Role Competencies:
Assist with various debris management projects as assigned. Ensure adherence to company policies and client directives concerning debris monitoring. Communicate effectively with project managers to resolve any concerns. Evaluate and report on contractor performance and compliance with debris removal standards. Monitor the removal of debris to mitigate environmental impact and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Organize and conduct meetings with debris monitors as needed with support of project management. Ensure accurate timekeeping, safety and compliance. Understand and apply knowledge of procedures and policies affecting debris management. Support and assist teams with scheduling or other administrative needs as required. Maintain thorough documentation of all debris management activities. Stay informed about industry developments and pursue ongoing professional education. Perform other duties as required to support debris efforts. Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:
Relevant industry certifications. Experience with FEMA Public Assistance, debris eligibility programs. Five or more years in debris management roles with supervisor experience. Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
Demonstrated experience monitoring debris removal projects and compliance. Supervisory experience required. Minimum of two years in a supervision role related to debris management. High School diploma or equivalent qualification. Familiarity with Personal Property Debris Removal regulations. Knowledge of environmental legislation as it pertains to debris removal. Skilled in managing communication with multiple stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Possess strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work may require extended hours including evenings and weekends, with shifts up to 12 hours a day/7 day a week. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks. Requires mobility and ability to travel to client sites. Operation in various outdoor conditions is expected in various weather environments. This is an on-site position in varying weather conditions in possible adverse conditions and debris sites with a moderate noise level. Strong emphasis on punctuality and reliability is necessary. Must be 18 years of age or older. Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa i required. We are not able to employ those located outside of the US.
