How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Design, develop, and optimize reporting and analytics using data models, GRC tools, Power BI and other analytics tools to generate insightful reports and visualizations for executive-level presentations
Understand the needs of the business, prototype data analytics solutions and tools, deploy enhancements, and coordinate with relevant business units to ensure sustainable monitoring solutions
Locate and extract data from internal and external sources for use in reporting, analysis, and statistical modeling
Ensure data accuracy and processes are clearly defined; proactively identify and elevate solutions where inconsistencies may exist
Design and oversee administration of database structures to ensure data integrity controls and establish internal governance processes
Design, implement, and maintain a Key Risk Indicator (KRI) framework
Provide statistical and quantitative analysis for enterprise risk calculations
Assist with monitoring and reporting on key risk indicators, emerging risks, and industry trends in support of Enterprise
Risk Management (ERM) risk assessments and scenario analysis
Assist in researching and documenting business processes, workflows, and user guides for both technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders
Be intellectually curious, ask questions, and contribute ideas
Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity and aggressive deadlines
Ability to support 10% international and domestic travel
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
3+ years experience in Advanced SQL modeling and querying skills
Must have strong mathematical and programming skills
Advanced dashboarding skills using tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Familiarity with Python and using cloud technology (AWS)
Ability to clearly communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and patterns in data
Experience in performing data projects from inception to completion, including timeline and resource management
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to strict confidentiality of sensitive material while promoting a strong risk culture within the organization
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative disciplines such as Data Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics,
Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience in analytics, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field
Awareness of the following areas of information technology: cloud computing and security, IT governance, Risk Management, IT Infrastructure, Data Privacy and Protection, and Emerging Technologies
Experience with AuditBoard or other related GRC tools
