Description

Qualifications: Qualified candidates should have a doctoral degree (in a relevant discipline) with a strong record of academic research, a demonstrated capacity to publish, and the potential to secure external funding, and either have prior experience or be interested in the epidemiology, clinical research, and public health aspects of vision complications of diabetes, nationally and globally. The individual should be a team player in interdisciplinary research while carving out a distinctive niche in diabetes and vision epidemiology and public health.

Opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration exist across WHSC and other divisions of Emory University. The candidate’s interest and scholarly discipline will determine the primary appointment (e.g., Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, College of Arts and Sciences). Cross-appointments with other Emory schools will be encouraged.
