At Kuehne+Nagel, we're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sea Logistics Development Manager to join our Sea Logistics team in Atlanta. In this key role, you will drive business growth, foster client relationships, and contribute to our ambitious Roadmap 2026 and Vision 2030 goals.

Your Role

As an Area Sea Logistics Development Manager, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to meet and exceed revenue targets. You'll act as a strategic partner to align business strategies with organizational objectives, focusing on Full Container Load (FCL) and Less-than-Container Load (LCL) services.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify, secure, and grow new and existing Sea Logistics opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong partnerships, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

• Align strategies with the Sea Logistics 2.0 Blueprint and national goals.

• Collaborate with sales and operations to drive revenue and market share growth.

• Leverage market intelligence tools to stay ahead of industry trends.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and optimize operational efficiency.

• Set KPIs, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in regional and global meetings.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience: 5+ years of international and/or logistics experience, with 5+ years in Sea Logistics.

• Strong skills in planning, analysis, critical thinking, and time management.

• Proficiency in conflict resolution, collaboration, and feedback processes.

• Advanced English (mandatory); a second relevant language is highly desirable.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to adapt, innovate, and make decisions with a customer-first mindset.
