Fire Protection Services, LLC Apprentice Sprinkler Technician / Parts Room in Atlanta, Georgia
Fire Protection Services is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician Apprentice to join our growing Low Voltage technical team.
Candidates should be honest, conscientious, punctual, self-motivated, and well-organized.
The Fire Sprinkler Technician Apprentice will learn duties including inspection, maintenance, and service of fire alarm systems with knowledge of multiple manufacturer's products.
You will work alongside our experienced Fire SprinklerService Technicians on accurate and detailed work orders and daily reports with proper documentation of improvements and complications.
What we need is someone with:
Experience in Customer Service
Proven experience in electrical work
Ability to use power tools
Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
Familiarity with online documentation and reporting tools, such as Building Reports
Ability to Thrive in a team environment
Willing to handle low-voltage wiring and corresponding devices for the operation of low-voltage equipment
Provide other support whether apparent, required or needed
A current and valid driver’s license
Willing to pass pre-employment reference and background check
Nice to have:
Knowledge of NFPA code is preferred
Skilled with low-voltage wiring and associated devices
Experience in NFPA 72 Inspections, Service, and Preventative Maintenance
Experience in Service, Inspection, and Retrofitting of Fire Alarms systems
